For those who have offered to help me I just want to let you know how much I appreciate it. I'm planning on loading up saturday morning at about 9 I have everything pretty much packed and most all of my stuff is in my garage so I'm hopping it will be a fast process. I could use trucks and trailors to try to make as few trips as possible I just hope it all fits in my storage unit. It just so happens to be Ammon's weekend with the kids so I don't need babysitters thank you for your offers though.

So I discovered something that I think I already knew but I just reminded myself of my horrible math skills. From 7th grade on we were given a TI82 and were taught to use it and were actually required to use it for everything. Well I have always struggled with even simple addition I always count on my fingers. Well today I was taking a practice assesment test so i can apply for the medical assisting program and i feel so stupid I didn't know how divide, multiply and even simple addition was hard. It's true what they say if you don't use it you loose it. And I have definately lost it so I logged onto briley's star fall site and started practicing my simple math skills.

So as most of you know i am overweight and about 3 weeks ago something just snapped in me and I said no more. My divorce got finalized and I realized that I have to get back in the dating scene and no guy is going to want to look at this. So I bought some more in home exercise movies since getting outside with 4 kids to go on a walk is a nightmare. I have been having a really hard time in the food area as I always have and I still struggle with the exercise thing. But I have managed to fit in an hour work out at least 4 days a week now which is tons more then what I was doing which was nothing. And today I was just sitting watching a movie with the girls and Briley jumped up and grabbed my movie and said "Mom it's time a exercise you have a fat belly." So there you have it my personal little motivater keeping me on track. So I got up propped the boys bottles and went to work. Can I just tell you there's a reason mom's don't get much time to exercise. As I'm lifting my weights and doing lunges in my family room I'm also tripping over Katelyn and Briley and Aaron and trying to keep the babies bottles in their mouths. Needless to say i broke a sweat but I really don't think it was all just from my exercise movie. What a pain in the butt. So far so good though I'm finally going down again. Slowly but surely.

Since this has become my journal and I plan on printing it I thought I would add in some old memories plus when I uploaded my pics from my phone these were still on there. Some of you may remember this time last year but for those who don't a week after Katelyn's first birthday she decided she would try going up the stairs and ended up toppeling down. She only cried for a minute so we didn't think anything of it but for a week she favored her leg so we finally decided to take her into the doctor and low and behold it was broke. I felt so horrible that I let her live on it for a week but the doctor said that because it didn't lodge out of place and it was a clean break it only hurt her when she put weight on it which is why we didn't think there was anything wrong. Here's the day she got the cast.
Just a little memory funny but grose one of the days while she had her cast on she had a total blow out and stuff got everywhere even down the cast. When they took the cast off I was intently watching for any poop residue in the cast but luckily there wasn't any.
After 5 weeks she happily got it off.

Having a 1 year old with a broken leg was quite an adventure baths were a circus. I would lay her on her back while Ammon would hold her leg up in the air. She eventually got really good at crawling but because she lost that critical month she didn't learn to walk till she was 16 months old. Plus about 2 weeks after she got her cast off Briley was chasing her around the coffee table and pushed her over and she ended up spranging her ankle on the other foot. The poor thing just didn't dare stand after all of that for quite a while.

The day in a life of a single mom.

So my sister posted something that just really got me thinking. And in turn it really just made me mad. What it's like being forced to be a single mom. Everyone keeps asking me how I do it well I don't know I just do what I have to so I thought I would share what a normal day for me is like which is usually everyday but sunday. I get up around 5 to feed babies then I manage to fall back to sleep for about 20 minutes before the girls get up and start demanding my attention then I'm on to making breakfast for them and before I can even get the cereal poured or usually right as I get mine done a boy starts to scream. So its no breakfast for me. I then end up feeding one of the babies while I squeeze in a little e-mail checking time and sometimes talk with one of my sisters on yahoo. After I get done feeding the boys I have to clean up the girls dishes and the mass of bottles from the night before and while I'm doing those they are off dancing through the house tearing it to shreds once the dishes are done I have to clean the house. I get it looking half way barable again and I quickly make a few of my 16 bottles I use a day. Then low and behold it's time to feed the girls again. So I make them lunch and again as I sit down to eat the boys decide their hungry so I stop and feed them. Then it's on to the best time of the day. Nap time!!! I say to heck with the lunch dishes at this point and ignore all the toys around and run to the beds. Once I lay the boys down I rush to get the girls to sleep and just hope that their tired enough that I will get a nap too and 30% of the time I do. I usually am able to squeeze in a little 30-60 minute nap before Katelyn messes her diaper and is up again. So I take care of her and stick her in front of a movie and before the boys wake up I quickly get a shower and get ready for the day it's usually 3 in the afternoon at this point. Then it starts all over again. Feeding the boys usually takes an hour at a time. After I'm done with them I head downstairs to start to work on dinner. This is the worst part of the day for some reason the boys are extremely fussy and just want to be held but I have to just let them scream or I end up just getting so frustrated and load up everyone and head to mcdonalds. Now it's my time to eat I quickly wolf down my food because the babies are still screaming and that just gives me indigestion. I usually just put the dishes to soak and leave them till morning cause I can't stand to let my babies cry. Now it's bath and PJ time. I use to rotate and do the girls one night and the boys the next but then I found it was so much easier to just bath them all one night and then everyother night I get a little break and can read a story to the girls. Now it's usually 8:00 at this time and I put the girls to bed and start to feed the boys. I get them down by about 9-9:30. I then run downstairs and make some more bottles and once those are done I head to bed and sleep till about 1 when Bryson wakes up. I'm up for about 1/2 hour at a time. I go back to bed for about 1 hour and at about 3 Jason is up same thing 1/2 hour and back to bed. Then around 4:30 Bryson is up again and there starts my day all over again. So there you have it that's what I do. Ammon claims I sit on my butt all day and complains about me being so up and down and moody. Well when you run on almost no sleep and never have anytime to yourself I think I can justify being cranky. He gets mad at me for him having to work so hard to support us and he has no money he throws at me that I need to get a job alot of the time. Honestly when the heck will I be able to squeeze in a job let alone sleep. I definately worry that my kids feel neglected by me but luckily the girls have eachother to play with which is a real comfort. I look like a circus when I step out of my house. I have a baby carrier on each arm and a toddler in each hand. At the grocery store I have both babies in the cart and the girls hanging onto both sides I don't get much food in my cart. It is so hard at times but all I have to do is walk around my house at 10 at night and look at all my beautiful angels sleeping and know that i made them and their all fed and clean and healthy thanks to me. So ya that sounds like I'm bragging a little and after the hell I've gone through these past 6 months I want to brag. That I'm still alive and I was pregnant with twins alone and gave birth alone and have raised them alone all while taking care of 2 very demanding toddlers and dealing with an adulterer husband. Not to mention living in the house that he slept with another girl and having to live 1 block away from his girlfriend. And to top it all off am now potty training. So here I go yeah me!! Ok that's enough bragging and complaining. It's time for a nap!

Yeah Kate!!! We have big news on Katelyn's birthday March 27th she just up and decided that she wanted to go potty and she walked into the bathroom and took off her diaper and got on the potty all by herself and has been potty training herself ever since. I never thought it could get easier than it was with Briley but I think Kate has been studying us lately and finally just figured it out. I wasn't even going to start with her until this summer that was just one stress I didn't want to face yet. But man did I ever luck out. I'm so proud of her for taking this step and doing it all by herself.

Jason and Bryson were born January 24, 2008 Via C-section. Jason was born at 12:56 a.m. and weighed in at 4 lbs 12 oz and Bryson arrived not quited a minute later at 12:57 a.m. and he weighed 5 lbs 10 oz. They were born 4 weeks early so they had to stay in the Neonatal intensive care unit but we got to take them home exactly 1 week later and it just so happened to be on my birthday so it was a great present.

She really hasn't shown any signs of being ready but I figured a few accidents in the pantys and she would clue in pretty fast. I hope cause I really don't want to do 3 kids in diapers.

This last monday we went to a reindeer farm and got to see Santa and his reindeer. The kids loved it they liked looking at all the elf scenery buildings and seeing all the other little animals.

This is Jason the baby on the bottom we had the hardest time trying to get a decent pic of him because the way he's positioned he had both of his brothers legs in his face and his own arms and legs up by his face too so we couldn't get a decent clear shot. I think this pic is a little weird looking but It's nice knowing that they are identical because the pic we got of his brother was much better looking.
This is Bryson the baby that's higher up and will mostlikely be born second. He's just a little bigger than the other but only by 2 ounces. Both are almost 1 pound each or will be by the end of this week for sure. And I am measuring about the same as someone about 7-8 months along. NOT FUN!

Katelyn finally turned 1 year old on March 27th. Wow this year has flown. I wish they could stay newborns forever but I have to admit that having a one year old is again is alot of fun. She started to talk this week too she now has 4 words. Hi, Bragee(briley), Daddy, and Mama (but only when she's crying). She still doesn't walk but is really quick on the knees. She loves to eat everything. And loves her baby dolls, she is very possesive of her new birthday toys. She even groweled at Briley when she tried taking one away from her.

Well here's our big story for the week. I was really hoping to finally meet and get to know the people in my ward this last week at our ward party. But of course Briley wouldn't let me. We had quite the tramatic experience on wednesday. Briley just happened to get the stomach flu that day and she was just acting lethargic all day and then about 10 minutes before we had to go to the ward christmas party she threw up all over my living room. And after that she acted like she felt ok so I continued to get ready for the party while Ammon cleaned up the puke. He then took off to the Utah State Basketball game and I went to the party alone with the kids. (if that wasn't hard enough) We were there for about 45 minutes and it was finally our turn to get in line to eat. And I scooped briley up in one arm and pushed Katelyn in the stroller with the other. And then it happen all down the front of me and all over the floor and a couple chairs curdled milk and hot dogs everywhere. Oh it was so humiliating she was screaming I wanted to cry. Our cultural hall has carpet not wood so it made it even harder to clean. Finally a couple women escorted me out and helped me with the kids and poor April Litchford ended up cleaning up my child's mess. About 10 minutes after we got home a couple men showed up on my door step with food. I'm not exactly sure who they were but I think it was my bishop and a counselor. I couldn't remember what they looked like. They obviously could tell I was not having a good night. What's bad though is I swear they were clear on the other side of the gym so that means EVERYONE saw. How imbarasing.

I did my first officially french braid attempt today. It was not quite the success story I would have liked to tell. I had pretty much no problem with the left side but when it came to the other side it was a train wreck. I couldn't even get it started. As hard as I tried it still wouldn't work. Poor Briley she had to sit through all of that and then just ended up with her usual pig tails. That's what she gets for being born with a head full of hair and a mom who loves to fix it. Maybe that's why Katelyn doesn't have any hair, she knew what to expect before she came to us. And being the wiggle worm she is I don't think I'd even be able to get her to hold still long enough to do anything to it.

Well here goes I've finally joined the bloggin world Jen should be so proud. Mostly I just want to show off my cute kids like everyone else is doing. Well let's see what's new in tremonton?? um nothing. It's freezing and there's no snow. There is ice so that just emphasizes how poorly people drive around here.
I survived the nightmare holiday weekend at shopko they took a total on the day after thanksgiving and our sales were up to about $28,000 which was really low in comparison to alot of the other shopko stores mainely because were a small store. Anyways Ammon's back to La-Z-boy and so far so good. Surprisingly better pay than malt-o-meal so I guess that's good.
